Hot Pink  opening night cocktail party featuring the best of Hawke's Bay rose/blush wines, with live music. 6pm - 8.30pm on Friday, September 10th. Come dressed in pink and be in for a prize. Hawke’s Bay Olive Festival                 A one day festival celebraextra_vigin_olive_oil__olives_dish_compressed.jpgting all things olive, this was a great hit last year. With free entry, free parking and free tastings, this is your opportunity to see and taste all Hawke’s Bay’s olive oils, table olives and olive products.

Blossom Dance  Featuring the sound of the Hawke's Bay Jazz Club Big Band. Dance the night away on one of the best dance floors in the country. A light supper provided. Saturday, 18 September 8pm Assembly Room, Hawke's Bay Opera House, Hastings.

The Proms  Always a favourite, this afternoon concert brings together favourite songs, flag waving, and great music from the Hastings Citizens’ Band and their guests. This year it moves to a new venue at Lindisfarne College. Sunday 20 September.  2pm – 4pm Performing Arts Centre, Lindisfarne College, 600 Pakowhai Road, Hastings. $15 adults; $40 for family of 4.  Bookings open in July. Free Festival Fireworks Finale at Windsor Park The evening kicks off at 6.30pm with live music. Food and drinks stalls will be provided so you can settle in to listen to the band. Once it gets dark, (about 7.00pm), a spectacular fireworks display soars into the night sky accompanied by a music-track orchestrated to match the fireworks. The festival goes out with a bang! And, because of the support of Hawke’s Bay Today and Radio Network, it’s free! Sunday 19 September. 6.00pm Fireworks at 7.00pm Windsor Park, Windsor Avenue, Hastings.
