Welcome to the Hastings Blossom Festival Home Site. The 2010 Festival runs from Friday September 10th to Sunday September 19th.
The famous Hastings Blossom Parade is on Saturday September 11th. The fun starts at 10.30 in the morning with plenty of entertainment, food stalls and a craft market. The parade starts its colourful progress through the central city at 1.30pm.

The final weekend of the festival is a gourmet's delight. We're calling it Epicurious and it includes the wonderful Hot Pink charity event which features the best of Hawke's Bay's rose wines on Friday September 17th. On Saturday the first ever New Zealand Olive Festival is being held at Sileni Estate winery which has one of the largest olive presses in New Zealand. This is a day that celebrates all things olive, with olive oil tasting, workshops and outstanding Wellington chef Rex Morgan presenting cooking demonstrations. there will also be great wine and food. Entry to the Festival is $5 paid at the gate.
That night top New Zealand Band Opshop will perform in the fabulously restored Hawke's Bay Opera House. Tickets from Ticketdirect. On Sunday uou can visit the Hawke's Bay Farmers Market, one of the best in the land, and then enjoy some live music at the Epicurious brunch at the Opera Kitchen.
